Beth Wentz

"I have been a papermaker for 25 plus years whereby I harvest my fiber from dried Iris, Yucca and Day Lily leaves. The plants are then cooked in soda ash, rinsed and hand beaten to make sheets of natural paper for sculpture, jewelry, and signatures for books.  Recently I have been including found items along with copper and handmade paper in my art.   My metals background, I have worked with sterling silver, copper, brass and some gold.

I like to set cabochons in silver and work with fossils.  My work has been sold and exhibited at the Indianapolis Art Center, Zionsville Gallery, Muncie's Art Works Gallery, Portland Alcove Artist's and Arts Place, Hartford City". - Beth Wenth
